Shake Up in the Video Game World

The life of a Pro-Gamer....

As of 3:34 a.m. pacific time yesterday I have temporarily severed ties to World of Warcraft. I have agreed to return in approximately 1 year when Blizzard Entertainment releases their next installment of the franchise. I have also agreed to return to Azeroth for 1 month some time before the next game expansion is released. During that month I am only committed to running the Warsong Gultch Battleground as Doominic.

Somewhere in the middle of the stretch between Christmas and New Years I made a small commitment to Bungie Studios, more specifically Microsoft, to play their release Halo ODST exclusively online until the next Halo Game is released. I'm really going out on a limb with this one because no timeframes have been discussed. Eek!

My first Facebook App release, Destroy All Evil, will resume beta within a few weeks. It is still undecided if the game will carry the MegaScorpion Entertainment Corporation label or the brand of a third party.

Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Love Missile F1-11 (uncensored)

I loved the band Sigue Sigue Sputnik and still do as much as any 38 year old man can have an emotional attachment to a band. Lightyears ahead of their time. Brainchild of the other half of Generation X (with the half you are supposed to recognize being Billy Idol).

This video is from the mid 80s. It's a 4 minute action movie trailer with the pitch being 'Sigue Sigue Sputnik'. Genius.

If you missed out on Sigue Sigue Sputnik then you really missed out on the best 'pre-fab' culture ever put together.

Oddly Increasing Nutrition in My Diet Decreased My Food Expenses

I started sprouting a few months back. Fun and informative reading about what happens to a seed once it soaks up water, sprouts, and begins to grow a little plant. Really fun eating several hundred to several thousand plants in one sitting.

Ounce for ounce seeds and sprouts have the most nutrition of any food (arguable). They are also the easiest to ship, store, and prepare. Sprouts will save the planet (arguable).

Regardless, I'm eating the freshest vegitables available because they are growing on my personal kitchen counter. This produce isn't introduced to any chemicals because I'm using organic seed and water. Sprouts are higher in nutrients than anything else in my pantry. Something like 25 cents worth of alfalfa seed creates about 6 cups of densely packed sprouts the way I grow them. If I used quart sized Mason jars it would completely fill two of the jars with sprouts in a few days.

On that same note: Stumbled on a short article about eating better for less. Interesting and some good recipes. Also found one on the 20 healthiest foods under $1.
